AQUAFORCE® SOLID-HANDLING POND PUMPS – REPLACEMENT IMPELLER KITS
If your solid-handling pond pump has seen better days, it may be time to replace the impeller. Doing so can restore your pump to its original performance and extend its life. Fortunately, replacement impeller kits are widely available and relatively easy to install.
When shopping for a replacement impeller kit for your solid-handling pond pump, be sure to choose one that matches the size and shape of your pump’s current impeller. You can usually find this information in the owner’s manual or on the side of the housing. If you don’t have one, other helpful clues include the brand name and model number.
To install a replacement impeller kit, start by disconnecting the pump from the power source and draining any water from the housing. Next, remove the screws or bolts that hold the housing together and carefully separate the halves. Once you have access to the impeller, remove it and discard it.
To install the new impeller, simply place it in the housing and align it with the shaft. Once it’s in place, reassemble the housing and reconnect the pump to the power source. Be sure to refer to your owner’s manual for specific instructions.
With a little elbow grease, you can easily restore your solid-handling pond pump to peak condition. And with a new impeller in place, you can continue enjoying your pond for years to come.
