One of our favorite products that has helped us time and again is the beneficial bacteria product line. Aquascapes made this product years ago for the sole purpose of keeping water clean, clear, and healthy for vegetation and fish. We can’t say enough good things about this water garden supply item. Preemptively using beneficial bacteria will help reduce the overall maintenance of the pond too!
We Carry Water Garden Supplies & More
Appropriate fish food varieties for your water garden is very important! We like to keep food on hand and ready for when the fish come out hungry in the spring. When we are picking out which food to keep on hand, we tend to keep a bit of each. Certain fish foods are beneficial to teaching them hand feeding and some are only edible by certain species. Take note of what you have on hand and purchase what makes the most sense for your goal.
Pond filters takes the next place in our top five common water garden supplies to keep on hand. Keeping spare filters on hand can save you time and frustration of having to order one when needed! We try to keep a few filters around just in case of a tear or severe buildup that can’t be easily cleaned. Sludge and gunk can accumulate on these and make them difficult to clean. Remember, keeping water garden supplies around is supposed to make your life easier, not harder.
Aquascape Water Garden Supplies
When it comes to water garden supplies, we carry all Aquascape products and supplies. The quality offered is simply superior to anything else we’ve noticed in other water garden supplies. If you are considering a large purchase, remember to take note of reviews and product recency. Newer products typically are better made with their older model flaws corrected. You won’t be disappointed!
Replacement bulbs aren’t a necessity for water garden lighting as LED’s tend to last a very long time, however, it’s nice to have them on hand in case something gets bumped during cleaning.
Skimming nets and/or self contained skimming equipment is one of our favorite water garden supplies to have on hand. If you notice leaves building up in your feature a few minutes with a skimming net will result in a tremendous amount of beauty added to the waterscape.
