There is a wide variety of a pond waterfall stream or pondless waterfall, or even simply a stream down the side of your backyard, there will be a buildup of clutter, debris, leaves during Fall, bugs, twigs, and pretty much anything that gets into your pond – you want this all out, right? If so, yes! You are correct. Ideally, your pond will not have clutter and will have beautiful clear light blue water. You should be able to see the bottom of your waterscape regardless of the season.
We do offer seasonal cleanout services if you’d like to avoid doing anything yourself. Hey, time is money, right? If you like, you can always do it yourself! It’s not difficult, but it can be time-consuming, especially if you do not have the correct tools to do the job.
Once you have your pond clean, it is important to keep it that way. You will want to maintain the correct water level, oxygen levels, and pH balance. You can do this by using pond products in our store. Beneficial bacteria is a great product to start with. This product helps to keep your pond clear and balanced by using natural bacteria to eat away organic debris.
It is also important to use a good Pond Filter. We offer both submersible and external filters. A submersible filter sits inside of the pond and an external filter sits outside of the pond.
